Hi, I’m Kirsty Nutkins, a London-based writer with extensive experience in print and digital journalism, and copywriting. I regularly contribute to The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail Weekend magazine, Woman’s Weekly, Country & Town House and Marie Claire, among many others, and have a diverse range of commercial clients – from luxury brands and tour operators to medical companies and clinics.

Before becoming a freelance writer, I spent a decade working for Express Newspapers (later Reach PLC) and was most recently the Associate Editor on the National Supplements Hub, managing a team that produced the weekend magazines for the Daily Express, Daily Star, Daily Mirror and Sunday People.

As well as commissioning and editing content, my job involved interviewing big-name celebrities and reviewing TV shows. Highlights include chatting to the princess of pop Kylie Minogue and talking to national treasure Sir David Attenborough ahead of the launch of both Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II.

I also covered lifestyle content such as property and gardening, and edited the travel pages in the Daily Express Saturday magazine – one of the most incredible privileges, which allowed me to review everything from luxurious private island resorts in the Indian Ocean to unique experiences like snowmobiling and deep sea fishing.
